Fun ExercisesThese exercises give you fun and enjoyment and at the same time help you to reduce. Every type of dancing exercises your body and helps you to reduce. Martial arts like judo and karate also helps. Roller skating either indoors or outdoors. Basket ball, tennis, horse riding and cycling are all good exercises. Jumping rope exercises the whole body and tones it up. Gardening also helps to reduce. Planting, spading, mixing in the fertilizer uses up a lot of calories. Taking a dog for a walk, not only uses up your calories but also is great fun. Walk, walk and walk briskly. It costs no money and you can use up to 100 calories in a mile walk. Warm up with 3 minutes of easy walking. With a little more spring walk at a brisk pace for about 1 minute, then speed walk for 1 minute. At the end of one minute return to brisk pace and then to easy walking. Do this 3 times. Put on your favorite music and walk around your room for 2 minute at an easy pace. Speed up the pace for 1 minute. Then climb stairs or jump rope for 1 minute. Repeat walk/climb stairs or jump rope three more times. Wind up with 2 minutes of brisk walking. |
