Steps to a Lovely Skin
- Keep out of the sun as much as possible especially between 12 to 4 in the afternoon when the sun is at its highest. Whenever you go out in the suns use a sunscreen of SPF 15. And always wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from getting tiny wrinkles. Always apply moisturizer twice a day whether you have a normal, dry or greasy skin. Moisturizer seals in the natural moisturizer of the skin, softens the surface of the skin and plumps out the fine lines.
- Before sleeping in the night, remove all your make-up especially eye makeup with a creamy eye make-up remover. This will not only remove dryness around the eyes but will also help prevent crow's feet. After removing dirt and makeup, wash your face and pat dry. Finish the routine with a rich nourishing cream to seal in the moisture and to provide the necessary oils to beautify the skin.
- Eat a diet rich in vegetables and fruits. Every day you should eat at least 1 medium apple. 1 cup raw leafy vegetables, ½ cup either chopped raw vegetable juice, ¼ cup dried fruits. The above mentioned diet will provide you with calcium, fibre, folic acid, iron, potassium, magnesium, beta-carotene and Vitamins B-2, C, E and K. These all are essentials of a healthy diet which are very essential for maintaining a healthy skin and body. You must always eat a variety of at least 5 fruits and vegetables per day.
- Drink plenty of water and fruit juices to detoxify the body.
- Maintian a constant weight by doing regular exercises and avoid alcohol, smoking and drugs.
- Be gentle with your skin. Rubbing or pinching the skin promotes fine lines and encourages wrinkles.
- Always go in for cold showers rather than hot baths. Cold showers tone the skin and stimulate the nervous system.
- Avoid unnecessary facial expressions like blinking, staring, scowling, frowning as these. will leave an indelible mark on your face. making you look ugly. Always try to cultivate a happy and cheerful outlook so that you always look cheerful. Cheerfulness is a beauty asset which always attracts people.
