Home Remedies To Cure Whiteheads

Whiteheads are tiny cysts which are formed due to the improper elimination of oil secreted from the grease glands. They have the appearance of hard white spots and they appear on any part of the body, but they are most commonly seen on the areas around the face especially around the nose, cheeks, temples and forehead. They mostly appear when you do not take care of your skin; therefore every time you apply makeup, remove it very nicely with good cleansing milk. Every time you come home from outside, clean your face with antiseptic soap and plenty of water. Do not use too much oil on the head. Even if you cannot do without oiling your hair, do not keep oil in your hair for more than 10 to 15 minutes. Also be vary of dandruff. It is the main culprit for giving rise to Whiteheads. Whitehead is beginning of a pimples.

Home remedies to get rid of whiteheads

1. A whitehead can be best removed by steaming the face for 1-2 minutes. When the whiteheads in the pores have Softened, prick the apex with a clean sterilized needle. They very gently press it out with your two fingers keeping them on either side of the whitehead and gently putting pressure on it. Another way to remove whiteheads is to take shavings of baby soap and mix in table salt. Take a wet and soft face brush, dip in the mixture and very gently rub in the portions having white heads with the brush for a couple of minutes. Then wash off after a few rubbings. The whiteheads can be removed by gently pressing them out. But never let your fingernails press the skin and never squeeze the skin. This can cause scars and broken veins.
2. Make a paste of roasted & powdered pomegranate, mix it with fresh lime juice and apply over whiteheads. This helps to get rid of whiteheads.
3. Beat an egg white part. Add 1 teaspoon honey and with a cotton swab, apply it on face. Keep it for around half an hour. Rinse with warm water.
